After Japanese astronaut Kohei Takahara dies, scientists use experimental technology to resurrect him as a clone. Despite his wife's reservations, the clone is vivified with Kohei’s memories. However, the procedure glitches, trapping his consciousness in childhood. When the clone finds Kohei’s original body, he mistakes it for his deceased twin and journeys to their ancestral village to bring him home.
