Eve Manchester appears to lead a perfect life with a successful law career and a seemingly ideal husband, Jagger. However, their marriage is strained by Jagger's infidelity, and Eve's unexpected pregnancy revitalizes their relationship until a miscarriage leaves her unable to conceive. When Eve's cousin, Vanessa, enters seeking legal aid for her boyfriend Mason, Eve helps him with a plea bargain. In gratitude, Vanessa offers to be a surrogate for Eve and Jagger. However, her and Mason's ulterior motives lead to a ransom plot, putting Eve in a dangerous situation where she must fight to protect her future and her family.
