Vanessa is a successful woman in her 30s who has spent her life being the "rescuer" for her boisterous and demanding family. When she encounters an old acquaintance, Dwayne, who confesses he’s had a crush on her for years, and is just too perfect a Mr. Right to pass up -- her family life begins to unravel. Vanessa finds herself caught between her own happiness and the constant crises of her siblings and self-absorbed parents, eventually realizing she must prioritize saving herself.
